I hiked to Bitter Enders in 2018 with some friends. Took a minute to locate the entrance after reaching the end of Honey Creek. We made it to the large pool of water at the "end". I had read about others diving under and going into another chamber. Lucky enough, the water level was just low enough for about a 1/2 inch clearance to see through to the other room. I dipped under briefly and came up into the other chamber. Didn't go any further.

There are definitely a plethora of caves in the Arbuckles.
Besides a few of the smaller ones, like Bitter Ender’s Cave, Little Crystal Cave, I would generally encourage amateur spelunkers to stay away. If you google “Arbuckle Mountains Caves”, you’ll see an article from the Oklahoman from 1983, where a fellow fell into a cave called “rattlesnake cave,” trying to free climb in, without a rope. I think this is one of the few, but not only reasons, folks are so secretive about caves in this area. That one has a 44ft vertical drop. I dropped into it recently on a static rope, and ascended out. I have no idea why someone would try to free climb down into it. These caves often have hazards, tight spaces, and multiple routes that make getting lost fairly easy.
There is also a big worry on vandalism. In many other countries, cavers are very open with cave locations, and have aids set up for climbers or cavers to more easily traverse a cave. Very different from US caving culture. It appears our social trust among those visiting geological treasures in the US, is low. And for good reason.

I have taken extended trips into wild woman cave back in the early 1980's. One of my patients was the forman for the chapman ranch, which was leased to another person at the time. He provided me with gate keys. Another friend, Jerry Chisum, who lived near Dougherty, had been to several of the caves and acted as my guide. I probably visited Wild Woman about 25 to 30 times and eventually traversed all of the known passages extending about 4 miles underground. Usually went with 4 or 5 people. Through the years I guided 26 of my friends, my wife, 2 young sons, and a whole troop of boy scouts through some of the safer passages. Sometime around 1985, someone hiked up from Turner Falls and found what we called the rattlesnake entrance, about 1/4 mile NE of the safe main entrance, and fell trying to free climb in, breaking his leg.Had to be rescued with a helicopter at great expense, which had to be paid by the lease holder. He changed all locks on the gates and banned any further spelunking on the ranch, except by organized caving clubs. It was a great experience while it lasted. I still have the hundreds of photos I took at the time. Can anybody contact me with information about how to get to Wild Woman and Bitter Enders! 214-926-2069 or mikettheshottamusik@gmail.com

Begging that anybody who sees this can PLEASE help me figure out how to get to Wild Woman. Is it IN the park? Someone else in the comments said it’s on Butterly Ranch? I don’t want to free climb anything I have the old booklet for most of the caves in Arbuckle with the cave plans and pictures. That booklet says there is a safe way in (also mentioned in previous comments).
I recently found the Crystal cave but did not go in due to lack of flashlights and other things. That’s on my list though as well as Bitter Enders.
I promise to be safe and respectful of the cave and responsible with the information! Please contact me 214-926-2069 mikettheshottamusik@gmail.com @theshottamiket(instagram)
